One Love Nutrifest

One Love Nutrifest dubbed Miami International Reggae Festival is a positive celebration highlighting the power of word, sound and art uniting us all as members of one human family. The daylong family-oriented festival will be composed of many elements but all share in a single idea: a state of being unified as one. As Bob Marley so humbly said, “one love, one aim, one destiny.”
Performing this year: Stephen “Ragga” Marley from Jamaica, Tiken Jah Fakoly from Ivory Coast, Cultura Profética from Puerto Rico, Natiruts from Brazil, Midnite from St. Croix USVI, Gondwana from Chile, Black Slate & Carroll Thompsonfrom United Kingdom, Bachaco from Venezuela and Causion from Antigua. Families will be able to enjoy live performances of these artists from around the world reflective of our landscape, an artisan village of fine arts and visual arts, a food village, Artecology Experience that includes recycling workshops with interactive and educational games for kids about recycling, reusing and reducing, AEROGA ® Yoga in the Park, Bike Valet, Promoting Environment, Health & Nutrition, Community Activism, Art Programs, Sustainability & Consciousness Workshops, Composting, Agriculture, Holistic & Natural Sciences, Poi & Hula Hoop Workshop, Drum Circle, Dance & Movement, Live Painting, Recycling Stations, Interactive Games, Massages, Meditation, Face & Body Painting, and so much more.
Rockers Movement is Feeding South Florida! www.feedingsouthflorida.org Keeping in the spirit of unity, attendees are asked to contribute two or more non-perishable food items as part of the cost of admission. Proceeds from the event will benefit Feeding South Florida. Their mission is to end hunger by providing immediate access to nutritious food, leading hunger and poverty advocacy efforts, and transforming lives through innovative programming and education.
Entry is FREE before 3 p.m. with the food donation.
